Proposal summary:

The farmer will compare areas in his vineyard that have had chopped straw placed in the vineyard row, compost under the trellis, both, and a no treatment to see if there are differences in soil health, plant nutrition, crop weight, and weed composition. The farmer will hols a field meeting for other farmers and present his results at a conference.
