View the project final report

Commodities

  • Vegetables: peas (culinary)

Practices

  • Crop Production: double cropping, nutrient cycling, application rate management, tissue analysis

Proposal summary:

Excessive nitrogen reduces the yields of pumpkins, and this farm trial grant will use the pre-sidedress nitrate test to determine if additional nitrogen needs to be applied to a pumpkin crop that follows an early planting of peas.
