Control of Grape Root Borer

Summary

Grape root borer is an insect pest native to the Eastern U.S. that can significantly damage or kill mature grape vines. This project continues a 2003 SARE grant, and will investigate using a high number of pheromone traps to cause mating disruption, thereby acting as a control measure. Outreach will be by presentations and publications.
