    Proposal summary:

    Sweet corn and baby corn grown at this farm suffer heavy damage from insect pests. This farm trial grant will evaluate the effectiveness of using a silk application of vegetable oil plus Bacillus thuringiensis to control corn earworm. Outreach will be through several publications and a farm field day.
