    Proposal summary:

Value-added processing gives farmers a new way to boost farm income and promote locally grown crops. This project will develop a frozen meal featuring ethnic ingredients and heirloom vegetables. The project manager will record methods that streamline production and expand the product line and identify sharing arrangements between farmers that offer a model for those interested in the processing of crops for the frozen-food market. Outreach will be through presentations, articles, news releases, and nutritionists.
