    Proposal summary:

Many vegetable farms practice season extension, yet it comes at a high cost in terms of fuel, structures, and labor. This project will look at developing a prototype roller to efficiently manage an insulated night blanket and will also investigate the feasibility of employing used greenhouse plastic for early-season soil warming. Outreach will be through articles and presentations at regional conferences.
