Objectives: 1) To determine which variety or varieties of cranberries would best be suited for an eastern Maine climate. 2) To determine the different types and quantities of unwanted weeds/vegetation in two growing environments. 3) To analyze the irrigation/water requirements of the planted cranberries in the two environments and two project cost savings, if any, of reduced watering.
