    Proposal summary:

    Evaluate the effectiveness of reduced chemical measures in a commercial orchard setting. The project would use mating disruption on peaches and pheromone traps. Diseases would be monitored and predicted for pears and apples with a leaf wetness recorder. An expert system on a Macintosh computer would aid in choices of action. A comparison of fumigant and Canola for soil sterilization.
