    Proposal summary:

We hope to develop a working model for community supported composting, to be used by small farms and their communities. We seed the problem as twofold. First, how can small farm vegetable growers build and manage a quality supply of compost for the increase of field fertility and second, how to find a low cost method which will help recover nutrients lost when vegetable crops are harvested from the field.
