Proposal summary:
Gloria and Gregg Varney, will research, document and evaluate the production and economic feasibility of one daily milking for a raw milk bottling operation. The Varneys will examine how once daily milking, in combination with rotational grazing affects labor, overhead, feed production, herd health and overall farm profitability.
