Mountain Tailgate Market Association Marketing Initiative

Summary

The Mountain Tailgate Market Association is made up of ten small markets representing over one hundred fifty small farms in western North Carolina. By pooling resources and cooperating, farmers in these smaller markets won’t be competing with one and other but will work together to create a larger over-all market for their products. They will create a logo to identify a common connection among all the markets and create a website and conduct surveys in conjunction with local colleges to determine how well they are doing.
