Grazing Sheep in New Forest Plantings

Summary

In an effort to reduce the use of herbicides in new forest plantings by utilizing sheep, this project proposes to build a moveable sheep shelter with attached guard dog quarters. This project is designed to benefit the private forest owner in releasing the young seedlings from brush competition without pesticides, and also produce meat and fiber.
