Summary
The goal of this project is to test and demonstrate production of container-grown ornamental plants using regionally generated organic fertilizers. A comparison study will be conducted of nitrate leaching and plant performance using organic and synthetic fertilizers in the containerized production of heather, hydragea, and ornamental grasses.
