Pig Manure Control and Utilization Project

Summary

This waste management project will convert a nuisance and environmental problem material to a useable and valuable input to another sector of the farm. Pig manure has been identified as a major cause of ground and coastal water pollution, at the same time fertilizer for crops is very expensive. This project will demonstrate a potential solution for both problems to the farmers of American Samoa and to other people of this region.
