Navajo Nation Livestock Disease Survey
Summary
This project proposes to survey the livestock of the Navajo Nation for mineral deficiency and diseases that can adversely affect both livestock and people. This survey will help develop better disease prevention and nutritional recommendations for the livestock producers of the Navajo Nation. Once areas of disease and mineral deficiency incidence are located, vaccinations and supplementation will begin on a wide scale.
