Low Cost Vacuum Silage in the Pacific Northwest

Summary

Vacuum silage will be explored as an alternative to traditional hay making. Feed quality and yield will be compared to dry hay. If successful, this method could provide a low cost, low risk, and nutritious way of producing winter feed while decreasing reliance on imported hay.
