Summary
This project will identify appropriate strip-tillage machinery for western Oregon vegetable production with the goal of developing a system that increases soil quality, protects water resources, and increases economic viability. Sustainable practices will be utilized focusing on weed and insect management and nitrogen producing legume cover crops.
