Summary

The Spring of 2007 was used to publish a report on the project and to distribute educational materials. Additionally the Principle Investigator attended the Agricultural and Human Values Conference and presented the findings.

Objectives/Performance Targets

Data analysis including a review of meeting notes, interviews, and follow-up conversation took place.

A report was completed and submitted for peer review by farmers and researchers on the project and outside of the project.

Accomplishments/Milestones

The publications were completed and feedback from participants received, reviewed and incorporated into final publications.

Impacts and Contributions/Outcomes

The results of the project, as published in a study through The Center for Integrated Agricultural System will be available to researchers and farmer at a variety of sustainable agriculture conferences, and have been mailed to plant breeders working in this area across the nation. The publication will likely draw attention to the limitations and opportunities provided by participatory research, and underline the best way to create partnerships between farmers and researchers. This will lead to more successful projects in the future.
