California Sustainable Agriculture Working Group
Summary
The California Sustainable Agriculture Workgroup, which consists of 10 Californnia and 2 non-California cooperators and 3 ad hoc members, was formed as an interorganizational coalition to promote the adoption of sustainable agriculture in California. A database of approximately 100 interested organizations was developed and their interest and efforts in sustainable agriculture identified by mail survey. A very successful organizational meeting in the form of a participatory workshop was held on July 28-29, 1992, with about 75 people in attendance.
