The Sustainable Farming Quarterly (SFQ) A Regional Newsletter

Summary

The Sustainable Farming Quarterly will inform small grain growers, the agricultural research and service sectors, and the general public about relevant sustainable agricultural research, Extension and farmer-based activities and issues within the six-state region of Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Oregon, Washington and Montana. Much of the information will be compiled from interviews with and articles by scientists and farmers, from unpublished research reports, and from research bulletins and other types of material not readily accessible to the general public. This newsletter will continue in its successful, two-year tradition of disseminating high quality, current, useful sustainable farming information to the public in a timely fashion.

Objective

To accelerate the transfer of regionally appropriate sustainable farming technology and information to producers and the agricultural research and service sectors in the six-state area of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah.
