Review Teams - can be assigned to review a single proposal or used for the final review team for final review of all proposals for a project type
Create your review teams
- Go to: https://projects.sare.org/
- select "Review teams"
- click "Add Review Team" button
- select the project type for this teams
- click "Add Reviewer" button
- enter the reviewer's name, email or portion thereof and click the "Search" button
- select the reviewer
- if the reviewer does not have an account, click the "Create New User" link and then return to this page and enter their name/email and search again
- use "Add Reviewer" for as many people who will be on the team
- when finished, click "Save" button
Update settings for proposal form
- Go to: https://projects.sare.org/
- select "Grant forms"
- select "Edit Form Details" to indicate
- Review Max Score: the scale to be used for the weighted scores
- Final review team(s): select team(s) to have permission to add a final recommendations scores
- General instructions for reviewers: instructions presented to reviewers when they review a proposal
Assign reviewers to a proposal
- Go to: https://projects.sare.org/
- select "Proposal summaries"
- select the proposal form
- for each proposal, expand (+) the Reviewers section
- click the "Edit Reviewers" button
- click the "Add a review team" button to add a team from the list of teams created above
- select the team to review this proposal
- repeat if you have multiple teams to review this proposal
AND/OR - click the "Add a reviewer" button to add as many individuals as you like
- enter the name, email or portion thereof and click "Search"
- select the reviewer
- if the reviewer does not have an account, click the "Create New User" link (under the "Addition Reviewers" heading) and create a new user
- add the reviewer type (optional)
- select the primary and secondary reviewerws (optional)
- click the "Save proposal reviewers" button
Create a custom report
- Go to: https://projects.sare.org/
- select "Proposal summaries"
- select the proposal form
- click on the "Create a report" link
- select the status of the proposals you want reported (submitted, not submitted or all)
- select the fields you want in the report
- click the "Create Report" button
- the fields for each proposal are reported
- the title is a clickable link to the report that is accessible to the public (someone not logged in to projects.sare.org)
- click the "Export to Excel" button to get the data in a spreadsheet format
- each proposal is on a row of the spreadsheet
- not all fields can be exported to a spreadsheet
- budget just shows the total of all the budget items
- repeater fields (e.g. milestones) with several subfields cannot be displayed in one cell

Send an email to applicants or reviewers
- Go to: https://projects.sare.org/
- select Proposal summaries
- select the proposal form
- click on the "Send Email" link
- select the recipients
- All applicants: all applicants who have created a proposal for this grant application form, regardless of proposal status
- All applicants (Submitted): all applicants for this form who have a proposal that is currently in a Submitted state
- All applicants (Unsubmitted): all applicants for this form who have a proposal that is currently in an Unsubmitted state
- All reviewers: all reviewers who are assigned a proposal for this grant application form
- Unfinished reviewers: all reviewers who have an unstarted or incomplete review for this grant application form
- Finished reviewers: all reviewers who have completed all of their assigned reviews for this grant application form
- click the "Send Email" link
- a compose message window/tab (using your default email client) with the selected recipients added as Bcc will open
