Learn to manage your forested property in ways that protect water quality, maintain soil health, reduce the threat of fire and improve wildlife habitat. One of nine rural resource guidelines to help people living on rural land assess their land and resources, create goals and develop a stewardship plan. The Land Steward Rural Resource Guideline Series publications can be used individually as standalone resources, together to create a Do-It-Yourself stewardship plan, or as part of the Land Steward Curriculum.
