Materials included in section 5 (Pasture Allocation/Grazer's Math) of the Maryland Grazing School Manual distributed to participants who attended one of the grazing schools. This section included a presentation on pasture allocation by Charlie Sasscer, a publication on grazing paddock numbers from West Virginia University, a handout on estimating hay and pasture yields by Dr. Amanda Grev, a publication on using a grazing stick from the University of Kentucky, a publication on falling plate meters from West Virginia University, and a grazing arithmetic worksheet developed by Dr. Amanda Grev.
