This guidebook is intended for established tree growers working to manage weeds, as well as for shepherds seeking more grazing opportunities. These observations and recommendations are intended to be used as a baseline for implementing weed control in Christmas tree plantations with Shropshire sheep. Each site may require modifications based on climate, soil type, ground cover, equipment availability, or other factors.
