Melanie Stock is a research assistant in the Department of Soil Science at the University of Wisconsin. She received a SARE grant to study nutrient transport on (and in) frozen soils after wintertime dairy manure applications. She is conducting her research at the Arlington Research Station near Madison, Wisconsin.
