Description:
To conduct the "Tonoloway Black Walnut Vacuum Study" information was needed on the location, and elevation of the trees, and the distances from each tree to the source of vacuum and collection points (storage tanks). To accomplish this, a survey of each back walnut tapped was conducted in the study, This illustration will help others who wish to measure volume of sap flow, pressure, and other factors needed to assess the impact of vacuum press changes and tubing size (diameter). This mapping report validated the information in "The Tonoloway Black Walnut Vacuum Study" found elsewhere on the SARE Southern website.
