Description:
A messy, hands-on way to prepare seeds for future
plantings! Kids will use clay, soil, and seeds of your choice to create “seed balls.” Until the ball explodes, the hard shell of clay protects the seeds from being eaten by wildlife or drying out in the sun. Fewer seeds are needed this way and compared to standard planting techniques these seeds have a higher chance of
successfully growing. Once planted, when the balls are exposed to enough water, they “explode”, and the seeds are immediately surrounded by potting soil and ready to grow.
