Clint Severance at From the Ground Up farm in Hunter, North Dakota wanted to add grass fed beef to its pastured pork and pastured poultry offerings, but does not have the land base to add it. He received SARE support to work with Nick Vinje of Vinje Farms in Gardner, North Dakota, who has wanted to take the step of adding livestock to his no-till farm to help increase soil health.
