Description:
Slides from a presentation given at the 2022 Entomological Society of America Annual Meeting. Project presented results from 2021 field trial. We compared spotted-wing drosophila reproduction on waste cherry piles that were left intact, mixed with 15% or 25% chicken manure or crushed using a tractor. Results indicated that SWD and other fruitfly populations were nearly eliminated using all three of the treatments.
