This short video (12 minutes) produced by Penn State Extension explores the value of farm-friendly local government and encourages farmers to become more involved. In addition to focus group research, the video presents a few vignettes to put a face on the tensions that often arise when local government doesn't understand agriculture. The video concludes by describing 3 levels of loval government involvement: informed citizen, appointed volunteer, and elected official.
