About
Dr. Berrada grew up on a family farm in Morocco and received his education in Morocco, France, and the US. After receiving his PhD in agronomy in 1983, he worked for the Moroccan National Institute of Agronomy (INRA), Servi-Tech, Inc., Purdue University, and Colorado State University (CSU) as a Research Agronomist (INRA and Servi-Tech), Visiting Assistant Professor, and Research Scientist, respectively. He retired from CSU in 2019 to pursue consulting, research, crop insurance adjusting, and farming. He has also been awarded a Fulbright research grant in 2023-2024. He lives with his wife and partner Gina Montoya on their 10.6-acre "Ranchitto". Dr. Berrada is a licensed Colorado Qualified Supervisor Pesticide Applicator.
