About
Earnie and Martha Bohner began Persimmon Hill Farm in 1982 with 2 acres of blueberries Earnie's background was in Public Health and Martha's was in Journalism. They added various crops over the years, the ones that remain are Blueberries, Blackberries, Elderberries, plums, gooseberries and shiitake mushrooms. They also process berries and other fruit in their on farm kitchen. In addition to selling blueberries on a U-pick basis they also have over 30 products they sell from their farm to on-farm guests as well as on the internet. Most recently they have opened a restaurant on the farm that operates during the summer.
