Proposal summary:
The primary objective of this project is to evaluate the economic feasibility of producing strawberries locally on a commercial basis in a greenhouse during the period of October through December. The suitability of various growth media will be studied to a lesser extent. The differences between two cultivars will be investigated for their applicability to the conditions.
