    Proposal summary:

    Robert Walker, will test the ability of various bedding materials and amendments to retain nutrients and reduce volatilization of ammonia. Project goals are to explore ways to cost-effectively handle manure, reduce nutrient losses to ground and surface water and to recycle the manures (through composting) into value-added products.
