Summary
A screen house will be built to allow for year-round tomato production. Unlike traditional screen houses built from expensive, permanent materials, this screen house will be constructed from PVC and grommeted draping screen cloth connected with hooked elastic cords. Crops will be protected in normal bad weather conditions, but the cloth can be easily dismantled in more extreme conditions. Plants will be fertilized with chicken manure from the producer’s poultry farm. Three tomato crops are expected each year.
