Description:
This factsheet is complimentary to the "Aquatic Site Visit Checklist for Professionals" factsheet for professionals to give to clientele prior to conducting a site visit.

When having a professional come to your property for a pond evaluation, it is important to be prepared to ensure they receive adequate information to create an informed management plan. This is a checklist to guide landowners on what information to have available for professionals, such as their County Extension Agent, prior to them visiting the waterbody. This checklist may also be a useful tool to conduct your own initial assessment of the current state of your pond or when purchasing a new property with an existing pond.
